What's at Camp Maranatha?
Camp Maranatha has a unique rustic atmosphere. Over one hundred years ago the land the Camp stands on was an old farming community. Some of the buildings still stand and are used as a few of our summer dormitories. The services are held in an open-air Tabernacle, seating around a hundred and fifty people. Each meal is served in a large dining hall with a spacious kitchen. There are over seven miles of woodland trails on the 200 Acres that cross over creeks and along the lake for hiking and horseback riding. On hot summer days the popular spot is our in-ground swimming pool.

Summer schedule usually runs from June to August. THe weeks are divided by age and Gender. Kids ages 9 to 16 are eligible to attend. Because Camp seeks the lost, the Gospel is presented regularly. Bible Memorization is encouraged and rewarded. While at Camp, kids are away from the distractions of society and can give their full attention to spiritual things.
Although the summer schedule is the heart of the ministry, Camp Maranatha also seeks to serve the local church in other ways. The Camp is available for retreats in the fall of the year. Missions projects for youth and Adults are available in the Spring to get Camp ready for the Big Summer Season.
